Statement
My work experiments with states of being. I am inspired by the natural world's eternal vitality. I follow my intuition as it is within the world around me. Employing a strategic use of my behaviors, I create systems of working to induce trance-like effects on the mind. Whether that be by the means of dense markmaking or the duration of a sound it does not matter. Through this shapeshifting practice themes of spirituality, transformation, and death emerge to the surface. The result is both a reflection and a set of questions on the mysteries surrounding our lives.
